I picked up dinner at the Windward Mall food court and brought it over to Kelli's grandmother's house for dinner. I have never tried one of the newer restaurants there called Bull Kogi Korean Fusion so I tried it tonight.
@MarkTRC on Twitter noticed that I checked in at Windward Mall on Foursquare and he asked me what I was doing in the area because he lives near by. I tweeted back to him asking how Bull Kogi is and he said he's never tried it so I thought I would let him and everyone else know at the same time.
I ordered the mini barbecue chicken plate for $6.25 + tax. It comes with 2 scoops of white rice and 2 vegetable choices. I chose the cucumber and regular kim chee. I also requested for a container of koochoojung (Korean chili sauce) because I enjoy spice! Overall it was good and well worth the price. The chicken was flavored well and was cooked just right. The regular cabbage kim chee was not very spicy and also a little bit too salty for my tastes. The cucumber kim chee was good and not spicy at all which is normally how cucumber kim chee tastes around Honolulu.
The mini plate was just the right amount to satisfy my hunger. I am sure I'll get food at Bull Kogi again and maybe try a different dish the next time.
